A-New Bio: Enhancing life for humans and animals.
Embryonic Stem Cells (ESCs) are pluripotent cells with the unique ability to develop into virtually any cell type. The first animal ESCs, mouse ESCs, were derived in 1981 by the British scientist Dr. Martin Evans, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2007 for this pioneering work.
ANB is the only company with capability to offer ESC lines other than mice and rats. Our cofounder, the scientist Qilong Ying, has established a reliable method to culture many animal species, including large number of avians.
